Meet your expert guide and transfer from the port of Piraeus in our fully air-conditioned vehicle and transfer you at the city center. Along the way, discover some of the most important sightseeing places of  the city such as the Panathenaic Stadium, the stadium that the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896. We continue at the Syntagma Square, where the Greek Parliament is located, with the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier fronting it and we will watch the changing of the Guards, two Evzones - members of the presidential Guard (a select military corps) - stand on both sides of it, in traditional costume. Stroll to the National Garden, where Zappeion is located an emblematic 19th c. historic edifice, used today as a venue for official ceremonies and meetings, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Zeus and the Old Parliament building. Climb on Lycabettus Hill, a green location, on the top of which you will enjoy a lovely view of the entire city and drive along Vasilissis Sofia Avenue which is lined with neoclassical buildings, embassies and museums.

After that, visit the imposing Rock of the Acropolis, the cradle of Western Civilization. Learn more about the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, the Erechtheion , the Odeon of Herod Atticus, the ancient theatre of Dionysus, the first in human history.

And of course, we do not forget the new Acropolis Museum with a the great variety of fascinating antiquities and artifhouses. The museum houses more than 4,000 works of art!

Before heading back explore Plaka and Monastiraki, the city's oldest districts with numerous bars and tavernas, continue in a local restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, head south and follow the coastline, along the Athenian Riviera, discover the sunny shores of south Attica, visit the Vouliagmeni Lake, in the heart of the Athenian Riviera, is the hidden treasure of Attica’s nature. Situated on an idyllic landscape, this rare geological phenomenon is waiting to be discovered.
